Having started with the construction of the Tower of Babylon, which is still considered to be the symbol of perfection every today, in 2348 BC, the production of bricks first started in Turgutlu (Kasaba)  in 1923. Our company first started to produce bricks using machinery in the Irlanmaz Stream district of the town of Turgutlu, Manisa in 1962 and more than 150 products have been being produced in our modern facilities located on the Izmir-Ankara Highway in the Kosukiri district since 1972.
Being capable of satisfying any and all requirements of its customers through supportive R&D (Research and Development) studies, Bloksan commercializes its products especially in the Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, and Marmara regions as well as all the provinces of the country. Besides, it also achieved to export its products to such countries as Saudi Arabia, Libya, T.R.N.C., etc. in the past years.
Load-bearing wall bricks, decorative bricks, terracite masonry requiring no plaster and paint which are produced for industrial buildings, Marseilles, Toscana and Turkish roof tiles are basic products produced. Emphasis is on the production of the Turkish roof tiles especially suitable for the building styles in the Mediterranean and Aegean regions. Bloksan A.S. has adopted it its principle to commercialize its quality products in a good and economic way.
Further, it has plans for new goals in the 2000s without sacrificing its quality concept. Occupying a prominent place due to its quality among the leading companies in the earthenware industry, Bloksan A.S. has proven its quality all over the world, being awarded ’99 Golden Quality Award in the United States by B.I.D. (Business Initiative Directions) established in 1964, whose mission is to share and improve the quality culture, and the International 2001 BIT World Quality Award in Paris.
